Responsibilities Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, or organizing ingredients when needed. Support the bussing team by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and welcoming for guests. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils during busy service periods. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with event cleanup as required. Skills Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations. Familiarity with bussing, food preparation, and basic kitchen cleaning techniques. Ability to handle food safely following proper food handling protocols. Experience working in banquet settings or large-scale catering events is a plus. Strong attention to cleanliness and organization in fast-paced environments. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to support kitchen staff and servers effectively.
