The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, contributing to the overall success of our culinary team. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are stored properly after washing. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during busy service periods. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service. Participate in deep cleaning tasks as assigned by management to maintain high sanitation standards. Requirements A positive attitude with a willingness to help others in the kitchen team. Knowledge of basic culinary practices is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items.
