Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand Properly and safely load and unload the dishwashing machine Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bar Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition Delime washing machine and handle chemicals, while being HACCP compliant Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas Transfer or move equipment throughout the kitchen Use sanitizer test strips and monitor temperature of all washing liquids Sweep and scrub floors Occasionally clean and prepare various foods for cooking and serving Follows safety and sanitation procedures with all guidelines from OSHA, Department of Public Health and Risk Management Requirements Previous experience in a high-volume full-service kitchen a must Food Handler certification The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
