Responsibilities Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, and organizing ingredients following established recipes and safety standards Cook menu items with precision, ensuring quality, presentation, and timely delivery during service hours Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to uphold food safety and sanitation standards Support the kitchen team with dishwashing duties to ensure a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils for service Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Aid in menu planning by preparing ingredients for upcoming dishes and assisting with special catering requests Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting fellow staff members during busy periods Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is advantageous Experience with culinary tasks such as knife skills, meal preparation, or cooking methods is a plus Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles can provide useful insight into specialized meal prep needs Knowledge of catering operations and serving procedures enhances versatility within the team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards in a fast-paced setting Join us to develop your culinary talents while delivering memorable dining experiences!
