Duties Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling food items following proper food handling procedures. Support the catering team by bussing tables and clearing dishes during events or banquet services. Help with light cleaning duties across the kitchen and dining areas to uphold health and safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of food service operations during busy periods. Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing tables, food preparation, or cleaning is advantageous. Experience working in banquet settings or catering events is a plus. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is beneficial. Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this energetic hospitality role.
