Duties Thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients when needed Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, floors, and storage areas to promote a safe working environment Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy service periods to ensure timely dish clearance and readiness for new orders Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and uphold hygiene standards Assist with catering and banquet setups by cleaning serving ware and ensuring all items are ready for events Skills Strong understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in restaurant or hospitality settings Knowledge of kitchen equipment usage and maintenance from previous restaurant or hotel experience Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy meal periods or events such as banquets or catering functions Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and guest service teams Familiarity with cleaning procedures specific to food establishments to ensure compliance with health regulations Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary operations, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices Embark on your hospitality journey with us!
