Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the overall efficiency of our food preparation and service operations. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and bussing tables. Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by disposing of waste properly and keeping work areas tidy. Support kitchen staff during peak hours by providing assistance with various tasks as required. Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, banquet, or catering environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the hospitality industry. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
