Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures. Support the team by bussing tables and clearing dining areas to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Follow food safety management practices to ensure all food handling and sanitation standards are met consistently. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, slicers, and other small appliances, adhering to health and safety standards. Handle heavy lifting of supplies, ingredients, or equipment safely while maintaining proper manual handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by sanitizing work surfaces, storage areas, and ensuring compliance with sanitation protocols. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key!
