Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support banquet and catering services by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for events. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in inventory management by reporting any shortages or damaged items to the supervisor. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation guidelines is essential. Experience in food preparation, cooking, or serving is a plus. Knowledge of bussing techniques and banquet service can enhance your candidacy. A background in hospitality or culinary arts will be beneficial for this role.
