We are growing quickly, and we're looking for team members who take pride in doing things the right way. This position is critical to our operation. Our bakers, baristas, cooks, and decorators cannot succeed without a clean, organized, inspection-ready kitchen. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, notices details, and genuinely cares about maintaining high standards. This is not a "wipe down a counter and wait for closing" position. This is a hands-on role responsible for keeping a busy production bakery running safely, efficiently, and professionally.
What You'll Do Daily :
Cleaning & Sanitation Wash dishes, sheet pans, utensils, mixing bowls, and equipment throughout the shift Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, sinks, prep areas, and food-contact surfaces Sweep, mop, and maintain bakery and kitchen floors Clean drains, dish stations, trash areas, and sanitation zones Manage trash, recycling, and waste removal Deep Cleaning & Organization Clean ovens + hoods, mixers, refrigerators, freezers, and production equipment Clean underneath, behind, and around equipment Organize storage areas, walk-ins, and dry goods shelving Maintain cleanliness standards in employee and utility areas Support ongoing kitchen organization and improvement projects Kitchen Support Assist with basic prep and kitchen projects as needed Help maintain inventory organization and storage systems Support the team during busy production periods Required Qualifications Previous experience cleaning in a commercial kitchen, bakery, restaurant, food production facility, or similar environment Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Authorization to work in the United States Ability to communicate effectively in English Preferred Qualifications Experience with commercial kitchen sanitation procedures Experience working in high-volume food production environments Familiarity with food safety standards and health department requirements Experience with deep cleaning equipment and facilities This Role Is Probably Not For You If...
