Dishwasher/Stocker

The Dishwasher/Stocker plays a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen and service areas. This position ensures that all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. Additionally, the Dishwasher/Stocker supports kitchen operations by restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and assisting with basic prep and cleaning duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash, sanitize, and organize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of dish area, including floors, sinks, and dishwashing machines. Restock clean items to proper locations quickly and efficiently. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing deliveries of food and supplies. Rotate and label inventory to ensure freshness and prevent waste. Empty trash and recycling regularly and ensure proper disposal of kitchen waste. Support kitchen staff with light prep work and other duties as assigned. Maintain a positive and professional attitude with all team members. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines as required by state and local regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
