Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the culinary team and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and preparation duties. Support the culinary team by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a tidy dining area. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks within the culinary field, including food preparation and banquet services. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent hospitality service.
