Responsibilities Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper cleaning techniques. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supplies to support the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly. Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use. Follow food handling safety standards to uphold hygiene and sanitation regulations. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours. Help with light cleaning duties around the restaurant or hotel premises to sustain a welcoming environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Basic understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or moving supplies. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail in maintaining hygiene standards. Experience with bussing tables or supporting catering events is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced environments.
