Required shifts:

Saturday and Sunday mornings, 8:30am - close (around 2:30pm); weekdays as needed during busy season and holidays. Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring the dining area remains clean and organized as needed. Follow proper manual handling techniques to safely lift heavy pots, trays, and dishware. Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools in accordance with safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations. Support overall kitchen health and safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and reporting hazards promptly. Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or sinks is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following health and safety guidelines.
