Responsibilities Maintain impeccable cleanliness by washing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff, including ingredient handling and setup. Clear and reset tables promptly, ensuring a clean and inviting dining environment through effective bussing. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all kitchen health and safety standards. Support food handling procedures in compliance with sanitation regulations to ensure safe service delivery. Assist with heavy lifting of supplies, dishes, and equipment to facilitate smooth kitchen operations. Follow all food safety management protocols to uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the restaurant. Experience Previous food service experience or hospitality background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Familiarity with food preparation, cleaning routines, and bussing duties is advantageous. Experience working in restaurant, catering, hotel, or banquet environments will help you excel in this role. Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper knife skills and sanitation practices, is a plus. Ability to handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. A proactive attitude towards food safety management and maintaining a clean workspace is essential for success in this position.
