Job Description
Purpose of Position:
To maintain an orderly dishwashing area and to coordinate with fellow employees an efficient flow of dishes, silver, glass, etc. through the dishwasher machine. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking dishwasher to join our fast-paced, high-volume restaurant team. The position requires a minimum of 2 weekends per month including Friday, Saturday & Sunday. This position Essential Functions (but not limited to): 1. Abide by all sanitation and safety policies and procedures. 2. Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in brand manual, and ownership employee handbook. 3. Answer, report and follow supervisor's (Chef & GMs) instructions. 4. Quickly and efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. 5. Come each shift properly dressed in the uniform, well-groomed, and hair pulled back. 6. Complete all side work, cleaning tasks, and all other duties assigned by supervisor. 7. Sweep, mop, remove trash, and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen. 8. Conduct yourself in a professional manner according to company policy. 9. Contribute to professional and team-friendly environment. 10. Efficiently and professionally communicate with personnel and kitchen personnel. 11. Be able to communicate with cooks, servers, and all other positions to ensure the team has the equipment and dishes needed to operate. 12. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift, including during busy service periods. 13.Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, and carry items up to 30-40 pounds. 14. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as washing, scrubbing, loading, and putting away dishesJob Types:
