  • Paid training and development opportunities Job overview As a Utility Dishwasher , you will fill a guest services role in supporting your hotel's financial goals of the daily operation of the restaurant and banquet departments.
You will ensure all kitchens and back of the house food areas are cleaned, sanitized and maintained to the level and standards set forth. These include daily tasks such as floors, walls, sinks, dishes(when applicable), utensils, equipment, weekly, and also monthly project assignments as designated.
The ideal candidate will:
Follow proper sanitation procedures as directed Be able to work in a sometimes hot and humid environment Ensure that the dishes are properly washed & dish machine(s) are filled and maintained according to manufactures standards and health department guidelines. Ability to read and comprehend the MSDS sheets and understand what measures to take and how to treat dangerous situations in the event there eyes, skin, or throat is exposed to various harmful chemicals. Be able to communicate effectively with kitchen and utility personnel, as well as others within the hotel. Be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs Be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
