Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep Associate, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently! In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring all dishes are spotless, ingredients are prepped with care, and the kitchen environment adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, portioning, and assembling ingredients to support culinary staff. Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly to uphold sanitation standards. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, sinks, and prep stations, following all safety protocols. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies with proper technique to prevent injury. Follow all food safety management practices to ensure proper handling of food products and uphold health regulations. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy items regularly. Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment operation are advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for cleanliness and detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Pay:
