Trattoria Tennie is an Italian inspired restaurant hiring its starting staff, if you are hands on and your feedback valued this will be the spot for you. Owner managed and is looking to open in April. We are looking for dishwashers for a lively hospitality environment. Responsibilities Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients under the guidance of chefs. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and following proper cleaning procedures regularly. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service to ensure a welcoming environment for guests. Follow food handling and safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours and special events. Experience Previous restaurant experience or hospitality background is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with food service operations, including basic food preparation and cleaning routines. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices. Ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
