Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and preparation duties. Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a tidy dining environment. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Perform additional tasks as assigned by kitchen management to support overall kitchen efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality and customer service. Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed in a busy kitchen setting. A willingness to learn and grow within the food service industry is essential.
