The Wild Goose Café is looking for a motivated Dishwasher/Cleaner to help keep our kitchen and restaurant running smoothly. At Wild Goose Café, our customers come first. Every member of our team plays an important role in creating a welcoming dining experience, and our dishwasher is essential to making that happen. What You'll Do As our Dishwasher/Cleaner, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient restaurant by: Dishwashing Wash dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen utensils using our commercial dishwasher. Properly organize and store clean dishes and equipment. Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized. Daily Cleaning Clean and maintain the dishwasher, including draining and shutting it down each night. Empty garbage and recycling. Clean sinks, tubs, carts, and work surfaces. Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed. Keep supplies stocked, organized, and off the floor. Additional Routine Cleaning Clean cooler floors several times each week. Perform weekly deep cleaning of shelving, cupboards, recycling containers, and other assigned areas. Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Team Responsibilities Work closely with restaurant management and fellow team members. Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, accidents, or customer incidents promptly. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Assist with additional duties as needed. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Dependable and punctual. Qualifications Currently attending high school or possess a high school diploma (or equivalent). Ability to read and follow safety procedures and workplace instructions. Basic math and communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized.

Physical Requirements This position requires:

Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying. Lifting up to 40 pounds . Working in refrigerated areas for short periods.
