Job Description

We're looking for a dependable Dishwasher to help keep our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for service. Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize pots, pans, trays, utensils, and silverware to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Remove trash and recycling promptly and ensure waste is disposed of in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing worktables, and cleaning refrigerators, walls, and other kitchen surfaces. Transport and organize supplies and equipment between storage and kitchen areas while restocking tools and supplies for upcoming shifts. Monitor and maintain temperature logs while keeping walk-in coolers and freezers clean, organized, and properly stocked. Support the kitchen team by assisting cooks with proper food preparation, labeling, dating, and storage procedures.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Previous experience or familiarity with food service safety and sanitation guidelines preferred. Comfortable using kitchen equipment, hand tools, and machinery required for daily operations. Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen. Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times. Must be able to work late nights and unpredictable hours. Must be able to complete the essential duties of the job with or without accommodation
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Food handler training preferred.
