Dishwasher

Job Summary:

Maintains kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine. Washes pots, pans, and trays. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Cleans and sanitize garbage cans. Sorts silverware. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Keeps work area clean and free of clutter. Must wear black non-slip shoes or temporary non-slip shoe covers. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to obtain a gaming license as needed from Wyoming Gaming Commission. Ability to follow all food safety guidelines.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred. One (1) year's labor experience preferably in a restaurant.

Physical Requirements:

Employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. Employees must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds.
