Job Description

Position Overview The Mill District Homeowners Association is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Clubhouse & Pool House Attendant to oversee the daily operation, cleanliness, and presentation of our community amenities. This position plays an important role in maintaining a welcoming environment for residents and their guests while ensuring all facilities remain clean, organized, and ready for use. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age No prior experience required; training will be provided Professional appearance and conduct required Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Reliable and punctual Responsibilities & Daily Facility Operations Collect used towels and glassware Operate laundry and dishwasher as needed Remove furniture covers and open umbrellas Check pool temperature and chemical levels Monitor pool and amenity areas for cleanliness and safety Restock towels, toiletries, and supplies Wipe down counters, fire pits, furniture, and common surfaces Ensure house music is operating appropriately Monitor sauna cleanliness and remove abandoned items Check lockers and amenity spaces regularly Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, safety hazards, or unauthorized use to management Resident & Guest Relations Ensure residents and guests comply with pool house policies Assist vendors, contractors, and event hosts as needed Provide exceptional customer service Document resident feedback and concerns for management review Private Event Support Review scheduled events and reservations Verify event setups match reservation requests Coordinate vendor access and event logistics Monitor event area cleanliness during use Conduct post-event inspections Return furniture and amenities to standard layout after events Pool & Outdoor Area Maintenance Remove debris from pool surfaces Monitor pool conditions and report concerns to pool maintenance vendors Sweep or blow debris from pool decks and walkways Maintain umbrellas, furniture, and outdoor amenities Closing Duties Empty all trash receptacles Ensure laundry and dishwashing cycles are completed Organize and clean all back-of-house areas Restock bathrooms and supplies Secure the facility, lock doors, and set lighting appropriately Ensure the clubhouse and pool house are maintained in "photo-ready" condition Downtime Tasks Fold and organize clean towels Bag ice for storage Wash furniture covers Conduct facility walkthroughs Straighten furniture and amenities Verify clocks and equipment are functioning properly Assist with inventory management Rainy Weather Responsibilities Protect outdoor furniture and cushions Close umbrellas and cover amenities Monitor drainage and remove debris Place wet floor signage as needed Report water intrusion or weather-related issues Weekly Reporting Provide management with a weekly email that includes: Summary of private events Inventory and supply needs Maintenance and repair issues identified during the week Why Join Us?
