Golf Cart/Bag Room/Valet Attendant (PRIVATE COURSES) Position Description
POSITION SUMMARY
To welcome members and guests as they arrive at the club; assist with all outside services including bag drop and valet; set up and maintain practice areas and interact with members and guests. This is a full-time seasonal position.
Time period:
October to May depending upon business needs.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Stage the necessary number of carts needed in an orderly fashion, ensuring that carts are properly stocked with supplies, and are meticulously clean. Set up, maintain, and break down the Practice areas daily. Assist members and guests with their needs after their round. Thoroughly clean returned golf cars, check supplies, return to proper parking space and place on charger. Maintain a clean staging area and golf car storage area. Valet parking. Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Ability to follow policies and procedures. Must be flexible and adapt to situations that do not follow standard operating procedures. Ability to work both with the team and independently. Ability to speak clearly, listen carefully, and use personal judgment and specialized knowledge to give information to people. Ability to multi-task and anticipate members and guests needs. Ability to lift 50lbs.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
Ability to drive a golf car and tractor/picker. Ability to operate golf ball washer. Uniforms provided.
