Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Outside Services Attendant to join our golf operations team at TPC Monterey. The Outside Services Attendant plays a key role in ensuring a premier golf experience by delivering exceptional service to members and guests. This individual will assist with the preparation, maintenance, and daily operation of our golf facilities, including bag drop, cart setup, driving range, and member assistance. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, detail-focused, and passionate about creating a welcoming, seamless experience for golfers.
Responsibilities:
Member & Guest Services:
Greet members and guests warmly upon arrival, assisting with golf bags, carts, and any special needs. Provide information on club amenities, course conditions, and daily golf activities. Foster a welcoming environment that supports a first-class golfing experience.
Cart & Equipment Management:
Prepare golf carts with towels, scorecards, tees, and other essentials prior to member and guest arrivals. Clean and inspect golf carts, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the management. Keep the cart staging area, parking lot, and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Practice Facility Operations:
Set up and maintain the driving range and short game areas, ensuring stations are fully stocked with golf balls, tees, and other essentials. Regularly retrieve and clean practice balls, keeping all areas organized and accessible for members.
Golf Bag & Club Storage:
Manage member and guest golf bag storage, ensuring timely and accurate retrieval and return of equipment. Assist members with cleaning clubs after play and handle all equipment with care and respect.
Tee Time & Course Preparation:
Assist with staging carts and organizing player groups according to daily tee sheet and event schedules. Support tournament setup, event coordination, and cleanup to facilitate smooth operations.
Other Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager, supporting a team-oriented work environment. Adhere to club policies and procedures, promoting safety, cleanliness, and a high level of professionalism.
Qualifications:
Customer Service Skills :
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with members and guests.
Physical Ability :
Able to lift heavy objects (e.g., golf bags) and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to
Detail :
Commitment to maintaining high standards in cleanliness, safety, and equipment care.
Availability :
Flexible schedule with availability on weekends, holidays, and peak season days. Golf Knowledge (preferred): Familiarity with the game of golf and golf course etiquette is a plus.
