Insomniac's Clubs Division is focused on creating a best-in-class experience for our Headliners. Our expanding roster of club partners includes some of the world's top venues, delivering performances from globally renowned DJs backed by top-notch sound and visuals. The diverse calendar of events celebrates the electronic dance music community and culture, offering an endless range of experiences. Insomniac Clubs is a separate entity from Insomniac Events, focused on curating and managing unique nightlife experiences. While we share a passion for music and creating unforgettable experiences, Insomniac Clubs operates independently from Insomniac Events and has its own payroll, benefits and organizational structure.OVERVIEW
The primary responsibility of the usher position is to guide guests and facilitate the flow of traffic within the club. Ushers are stationed at various locations to provide assistance to guests by answering their questions and ensuring their safety by directing them to the appropriate areas. It is essential for ushers to maintain a professional and personable demeanor as they engage in continuous communication with guests. They must possess strong customer service skills and remain composed in high-pressure situations, including when dealing with an upset or intoxicated guest. Ushers are required to stay vigilant regarding wristband access. They must also utilize the radio to communicate with security and management effectively.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and accurately identify wristband color corresponding to each shift.
- Direct guests to facilities such as restrooms, coat check, VIP areas, smoking patio, and other designated areas.
- Exhibit proficiency in proper radio communication (using club-specific radio codes).
- Checking out and returning company equipment at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Support onboarding and training new team members
- In addition to the responsibilities listed above, the employee may be assigned other duties or tasks as needed. Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in high-volume nightclub environment
- Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments when at venues
- May work in drastic temperature climates when at venues
- Ability to work Nigh Shift, Evening Shift, Holidays & Weekends as needed Applicants for employment in the U.
