Job Description

Swim Club Attendant About the role Some jobs come with a corner office. This one comes with a pool deck. As our Swim Club Attendant, you're the person who keeps the swim club safe, clean, and genuinely fun — the friendly face members see on their best days of summer. You'll watch the water, help guests get settled, and keep everything running so smoothly nobody notices the work behind it. That's the job. What you'll do Keep an eye on the water and the deck — enforce the rules, head off problems before they start, and handle the occasional conflict like an adult. Help members and guests with pool access, seating, and questions so they can get to the good part faster. Run routine safety checks on the pool area — equipment, hazards, the works. Ring up snacks and gear at the concession stand using our POS system. Pitch in on poolside events and tournaments — setup, coordination, teardown. Handle the heavy lifting (literally) — moving equipment and supplies safely. Be great with kids and families. A big part of this job is making people feel welcome. Keep the deck, chairs, and locker rooms clean. A spotless pool area is a safe one. Work with the rest of the crew so the whole operation runs without a hitch. What you bring Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or outdoor recreation. A cool head when things get tense — you can handle a tough moment without drama. Working knowledge of pool and outdoor safety protocols. Event or recreation experience is a nice bonus. The ability to lift heavy stuff and work outside in whatever weather the day brings. Strong communication skills — you're comfortable talking to anyone, from a five-year-old to a board member. Why Latitude We run our clubs the way we run our marinas: trust is our currency, we get stuff done, and we don't tolerate egos or drama. If you love the water and want a summer job where your energy actually matters, come find us. Sometimes you just need a Latitude Adjustment.
