In this vital role, you will oversee pool maintenance, enforce water safety protocols, and deliver exceptional guest services. Your proactive approach will help create a fun and secure atmosphere, encouraging guests to relax and make the most of their aquatic experience. Whether assisting with water safety instruction or responding to medical emergencies, your commitment to public safety will be at the forefront of everything you do. Duties Monitor pool areas continuously to ensure guest safety and enforce water safety rules and regulations. Perform regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning filters, skimming debris, checking chemical levels, and maintaining water clarity. Respond promptly to water rescue situations using water rescue response techniques and provide first aid or CPR as needed. Assist guests with pool access, provide information on pool rules, and deliver excellent customer service to enhance their experience. Conduct routine inspections of the aquatic facility to ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Operate AED (Automated External Defibrillator), first aid kits, and other emergency medical equipment in accordance with protocols. Support water safety instruction by helping with swimming lessons or safety demonstrations for children and adults. Heavy lifting of equipment or supplies may be required during daily operations. Experience Previous experience working in an aquatic facility or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning techniques. Experience working with children or providing water safety instruction is a plus. Familiarity with public safety procedures, medical emergency response protocols, and first aid protocols is essential.
