In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face ensuring pool safety, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional guest services. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, customer service, and event management while working in a dynamic resort or recreational setting. Responsibilities Monitor pool areas continuously to ensure safety protocols are followed and respond swiftly to any emergencies or incidents. Enforce rules related to pool use, guest behavior, and safety regulations with professionalism and confidence. Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with pool access, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly. Maintain cleanliness of pool decks, lounge chairs, and surrounding facilities to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance. Manage guest interactions during poolside events or activities, facilitating a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Handle cash transactions accurately for food service or merchandise sales at poolside concessions or retail outlets. Collaborate with team members to coordinate special events or themed activities that enhance guest experience. Experience Previous lifeguard experience is highly preferred; CPR certificate, and first aid is required or obtainable upon hire. Strong background in customer service and guest relations within hospitality or resort environments. Experience managing conflicts calmly and effectively to resolve guest issues or disputes. Familiarity with event management or organizing recreational activities is a plus. Ability to work with children confidently while maintaining safety standards. Skills in public speaking or leading group activities enhance your ability to engage guests actively. Previous food service experience is beneficial for managing concessions or snack bar operations within the pool area.
