Children's Entertainment Performer Imagine Occasions & Events Pompano Beach, FL Job Details Seasonal $60 - $80 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Bilingual Teamwork Personal service experience with children Dancing Youth group activity facilitation Full Job Description Actors , Dancers , Theater Performers, High-Energy Entertainers Imagine Occasions is growing, and we are looking for talented, dependable performers to join our children's entertainment team throughout Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach County. This is not a position for someone who simply enjoys wearing costumes. We are looking for confident entertainers who can bring characters and experiences to life, connect with children, follow direction, and maintain great energy from beginning to end.
The ideal candidate has:
Theater, acting, dance, musical theater, theme park, party entertainment, or live-performance experience Experience working with and entertaining children The ability to quickly learn choreography, scripts, character movements, and performance routines The confidence to lead interactive games, dances, activities, and large groups of children Strong stage presence, positive energy, and an outgoing personality The ability to take direction and accept constructive feedback professionally A team-first attitude and respect for fellow performers, clients, and company leadership Excellent communication, punctuality, and dependability Reliable transportation and the flexibility to travel throughout South Florida Weekend availability Responsibilities may include: Performing as princesses, superheroes, storybook characters, hosts, or costumed mascots Learning choreography, scripted scenes, character mannerisms, and interactive routines Leading games such as freeze dance, character challenges, parades, and group activities Engaging children during meet-and-greets, photos, birthday celebrations, schools, festivals, and venue productions Arriving on time and prepared for event call times, rehearsals, costume fittings, and training Maintaining character integrity and professional behavior throughout every event Assisting with setup, costumes, props, and event transitions when necessary
Important:
Our events require energy, discipline, teamwork, and professionalism. Applicants must be comfortable performing in front of crowds, working in costumes, interacting with children, and adapting to different event environments. Performance experience is strongly preferred. Dance experience, theater training, children's entertainment experience, bilingual ability, singing ability, hosting experience, and specialty skills are a plus.
