About the Role

THIS IS NOT A MEDICAL OR RESEARCH ROLE.

The Drunken Laboratory is a nightlife entertainment experience. Think immersive shows, loud music, dancing with guests, and high energy. This is an on-stage performer role — not table service, not walking guests to seats. We're hiring Immersive Experience Performers to guide groups of 50-60 guests through each show. You are the face, voice, and energy of the experience. If you don't like being on stage or leading a room, this is not for you.

This Role Is For You If You Are:

• Naturally extroverted, confident, and high-energy
• Comfortable speaking to large groups (50-60+ people)
• Confident on stage with strong presence
• Able to ad-lib and go off script when needed
• Quick on your feet and good under pressure
• Comfortable dancing, hyping the room, getting guests to sing and engage
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management

Do NOT Apply If You Are:

• Shy, reserved, or uncomfortable being the center of attention
• Not confident speaking loudly and clearly to large groups
• Easily thrown off by unexpected situations
• Low-energy or uncomfortable performing
• Not reliable on weekends (this role

Responsibilities:

• Guide guests through each experience step-by-step
• Lead and manage groups of 50-60 guests per show
• Keep the show on time and on track
• Perform scripted content while confidently ad-libbing when needed
• Read the room and adjust energy in real time
• Hype the crowd, lead dancing/singing moments, and create a fun vibe
• Handle unexpected situations smoothly and professionally
• Work closely with the floor and supplies team to keep shows running clean Each show is 90 minutes — timing, presence, and crowd control matter.

Experience & Requirements:

• No college degree required
• Prior experience in performance, hosting, acting, teaching, public speaking, entertainment, nightlife, fitness instruction, tour guiding, or crowd-leading is a plus
• Must be comfortable on camera and on stage
• Strong verbal communication required
• Must be dependable and able to follow show flow and timing

Pay & Perks:

• $17.00
• 28.00/hour + tips per show
• Performance-based growth in pay rate
