Job Description

Attend to all pool area needs including but not limited to: taking food & drink orders; delivering food & drink orders, organizing pool furniture, picking up trash, managing towels, helping guests with their needs, answering guest questions, managing all games located in the pool area, help maintain all pool rules.
Essential Functions:
Provide exceptional guest service to all customers. Proactively welcome all pool area guests and offer available pool area services to them. Provide food and drink menus and make aware of any specials. Have complete knowledge of all pool area food and drink options. Take food and drink orders from guests and provide timely return of orders. Prepare final guest bill, accept payment and process credit card (through POS system) or cash transactions, making appropriate change as required. Keep pool area organized and orderly (pool furniture, games, etc.). Maintaining the cleanliness of the entire pool area (general custodial duties to include bathrooms and watering plants). Manage guest towel needs and keep towels picked up. Have working knowledge of all resort amenities and activities and answer guest questions. Manage all games that are located in the pool area. Ensure guest safety by enforcing all pool area rules. Document daily pool count and number of groups. Assist guests with seating and the seating areas. De-foam spa when needed. Offer misting service, towels and ice water to guests. Follow all company policies regarding service and guest consumption of alcoholic beverages. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required:
Minimum of 6 months experience working in a guest service capacity, preferably with food and drink service. Minimum age of 18 required to provide alcohol service. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional guest service at all times. Demonstrated ability to perform basic math and computer skills necessary for handling cash or credit card transactions.
