Job Description:
Athletics & Recreation Services is seeking students for employment. This position is funded by the university. All undergraduate students looking for employment are welcome to apply. Please see below the specific duties and responsibilities for the position.
Specific Duties Include:
Provide excellent customer service to all patrons of the Recreation Center Consistently enforce all policies of the Recreation Center Perform opening and closing procedures as necessary Check and Scan OneCard of eligible users & operate computer software efficiently Process electronic transactions through BlackBoard Perform equipment checkout / inventory procedures Assist patrons with membership application process Assist with consistent cleaning and disinfecting of fitness equipment Provide support during medical emergencies (CPR/AED) as needed Respond to staff internal communication in a timely and professional manner Attend scheduled meeting and training sessions
Job Requirements:
Effective communication both written and oral Customer service oriented Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Additional Information:
This is a part-time non-benefited student only position. Students may work up to 20 hours per week @ $15 per hour.
