Director of Guest Experience Tasks/Responsibilities:
To assist in opening, closing and maintaining the Activities area to COMO Parrot Cay standards, ensuring safety at all times while completing in a timely manner. To provide guests with Water sports rental equipment providing thorough guidelines and instructions for guest safety. Assist with all Activities areas and maintain cleanliness of area, restock supplies, equipment moving and cleaning Maintain a good team moral and safe work environment. Follow Management requests and instructions in a professional, helpful and pleasant manner. Speak & understand English to a high standard. Work with guests and colleagues in a calm and professional manner. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills, communicator and team player. Following safe water sports & activities practices. Inform Management when purchases/ restocking of items are required. Make our guests' satisfaction your first priority. Be alert for the safety of our guests and their belongings. Respect privacy and confidentiality of all our guests at all times. Participate in all training related to department request by manager or supervisor. If trained and approved by Management, assist and tutor guests in catamaran, windsurfing or other water activities. Never leave the beach unattended during working hours this is for safety of guests so that they water sport equipment is not left unattended. Report any guest incidents to Activities Manager no matter how insignificant it might seem. Use of Rescue Boat only in case of actual rescue required. Fill required paperwork and submit for review. Any misuse can result in disciplinary action. Assist in all areas of Activities as requested by manager not just limited to water sport. Attend meetings and actively participate in minimum four hours training a month as designated by manager or resort management in improve service and standards we can offer the guests and better the team and yourself. Follow all COMO Core Standards and rules as stated in the Employee Handbook.
Key Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in water sports, lifeguarding, or guest services is advantageous. CPR, First Aid, and/or Lifeguard Certification required (or willingness to obtain). Ability to swim proficiently and handle physically demanding tasks. Strong swimming and rescue skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Physically fit and able to lift or move equipment (up to 50 lbs). Attentive, safety-conscious, and responsible. Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance.
