Job Description

The Opportunity Are you interested in enhancing participant experience within the athletic programs at the City of Mebane? Well look no further! We are seeking an individual who will provide support and joy to each person affiliated with the Athletics program. This position will require evening weeknight work between 5:00 - 9:00 PM with occasional weekend work. Responsibilities of the Athletic Attendant include: Apply personal strengths, motives, and interests to improve the athletic program experience for participants. Provide general supervision of athletic games and/or practices. Lead and/or assist with activities when needed. Prepare athletic facilities before events and take down all equipment after the event. Ensure equipment is in working order before use. Scorekeeping during athletic contests. Assist with administrative tasks such as participant check-in, completing safety and activity reports, and issuing participant surveys. Communicate with participants, spectators, coaches, and officials in a professional and courteous manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be 15 years of age or older to apply.
