Troon-The Clubs at St. James, located in Southport, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Seasonal Recreation Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. Key Responsibilities of the
Recreation Attendant:
Maintains cleanliness of facility operations according to established daily maintenance procedures. Maintains knowledge of department programs, events, and activities. Answers guest questions regarding such programs. Maintains understanding of operating procedures for pool, bikes, and fitness equipment. Completes checklist for opening, closing, and daily procedures. Takes direction from Facility Coordinator. Provides safe environment within facilities and activities. Performs all recreation activities regarding facility operations to include daily programs, holiday, and special events. Processes recreation reservations as needed. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications for the
Recreation Attendant:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Regular and reliable work attendance. Must be available to work weekends.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, uses hands. Occasionally walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties. CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
