Job Description

Summary of Position Ensure the safety and enjoyment of our guests while they attend events by assisting guests in locating assigned seating and resolving seating issues should they arise. Answer general questions pertaining to events and the building and provide directions in and around the building. Duties & Responsibilities Provide a high level of customer service to guests during events. Greet, monitor, and control movement of guests in assigned areas within the arena to ensure guest safety and compliance with building policy. Limit access to arena or specific areas to those with proper, valid tickets. Work closely with various teammates including security, medical staff, guest services and event supervisors to provide high level of service. Work under limited supervision and apply broadly defined procedures to varying situations. Responsible for obtaining and having a working knowledge of all procedures and directives that pertain to each event. Must be able to read tickets and have a firm grasp of the building. Remain calm and professional in all situations. Address various situations as they arise from guests. Identify guests who may need additional assistance. Provide support in the completion of reports and records. Report pertinent information to supervisor. Minimum Qualifications for the
Position:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must possess a high degree of interpersonal communication skills. Must possess pleasant demeanor and practice good judgement and discretion. Must be able to carry out instruction in written form. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be able to climb stairs. Must be willing and able to respond to emergent situations. Must be able to work irregular hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
