Job Description

Fox Creek Estates, a premier 55+ community in East Amherst, is seeking a Pool Attendant to help create a safe, clean, and enjoyable pool experience for our residents and guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, takes pride in maintaining community amenities, and can confidently respond to emergency situations when needed. Position Summary The Pool Attendant is responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing community pool rules, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the pool, pool deck, and surrounding areas. This position plays a key role in ensuring resident safety and providing excellent customer service throughout the pool season. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Monitor pool activities and promote a safe environment for residents and guests. Enforce pool rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner. Verify pool passes and ensure pool access is limited to authorized users. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide CPR and/or first aid when necessary. Perform routine pool maintenance duties, including: Checking pool equipment and water levels Conducting and documenting pool chemical testing Maintaining required pool records and reports Maintain the cleanliness of the pool area, deck, pool house, bathrooms, and surrounding grounds. Empty trash receptacles, sweep pool decks, pull weeds, and water landscaping as needed. Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to management immediately. Provide friendly, professional service to residents and guests at all times. Qualifications Required Current American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification for Adults and Infants Must maintain CPR certification throughout employment in accordance with Erie County pool operation requirements Valid New York State Driver's License with a clean driving record Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and responsibly Compensation & Benefits Starting at $18.00 per hour Seasonal employment opportunity Positive team environment Opportunity to work in a beautiful 55+ residential community Apply today and help us provide a safe, enjoyable summer experience for our residents at Fox Creek Estates!
