Golf Shop Attendant - Washington Golf Course Cleveland Metroparks - 4.1 Newburgh Hts, OH Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Public relations Beer knowledge Full Job Description The Golf Shop Attendant operates a point-of-sale system to sell merchandise, greens fees, and food and beverage. Handles cash transactions for greens fees, merchandise, and food and beverage in conformity with Park District policies and procedures relating to cash handling. Assists customers with merchandise selection. Provides outstanding customer service to all guests. Receives visitors' complaints and resolves complaints when possible. Informs supervisor of unresolved complaints. Keeps direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns. Carries out duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a safe work environment and surrounding area for oneself, co-workers and public. Responds to hazardous situations and/or potentially unsafe conditions by taking corrective action as capable and promptly notifying supervisory personnel. Performs related duties as assigned or apparent.
Requirements:
Prior experience in retail or as a cashier preferred. Age 18 or older to handle beer in sealed containers in connection with wholesale or retail sales. Ability to work weekends and holidays. Knowledge of golf preferred Ability to establish and maintain good public relations with guests Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and organization. Ability to work cooperatively with others. Ability to perform with considerable independence and initiative.
Work Schedule:
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays.
