Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Enthusiastically greet guests and provide event information.
Maintain sufficient supervision over the Ushers and Ticket takers performing their assigned responsibilities.
Assure that Ushers and Ticket Takers are following the policies and practices of the venues.
Scan guest tickets, answer questions, assist guests with locating their seats, examine tickets for entry to various locations around the venue, and refuse admittance to guests without a ticket.
Assist all needs for guests with disabilities including ticketing, entrance/exiting, seating, and other ADA compliance accommodations as needed.
Proactively approach guests that may have questions, difficulty, or a complaint.
Creatively resolve complaints and/or problems.
Identify and respond to emergencies.
Remain calm and direct guests to the designated area of safety in the event of an emergency.
Adhere to the dress code and present yourself in a profession, friendly, and approachable manner.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have great customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and work in a team atmosphere. Ability to take direction well and work well with others. Must be able to be on time for your shift and maintain reliable attendance. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that can include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Work hours are event based and non-guaranteed.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Tasks are performed with moderate supervision. Walking & standing occurs 95% of the time (6-8 hours per shift). Employees may be assigned to work positions located outside. Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later. Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment. Employee should use precautions & follow safety guidelines.
