Responsible for checking in residents at outside pools according to standard procedures.

Exceptional customer service skills Flexibility and willingness to handle a variety of tasks Duties and Responsibilities Greets residents Verifies membership by requesting a member identification card Validates member card Reviews prepared list and highlight member name Maintains required checklists, sign-in sheets, and communications logs for each shift. Provides a welcoming atmosphere employing exceptional customer service skills. Maintains proper hydration levels Reports maintenance concerns to appropriate people, i.e., overflowing trash containers, deck cleanliness issues, broken chairs, and equipment, etc. Picks up any lost and found items and turn them into the front desk. Reports any incidents to security team May close umbrellas if applicable, and straighten and clean pool chairs and pick up and dispose of trash at shift's end. May also perform other responsibilities inside at fitness centers as assigned or requested. Conduct routine inspections of pool surroundings, including deck cleanliness and safety equipment checks Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations following established protocols, including cardiac arrest response and AED operation Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to pool supplies and cleaning equipment Document incidents, maintenance activities, and safety checks accurately in logs Requirements Proven experience or training in lifeguarding, swimming, or pool safety protocols Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and basic life support is required Prior experience with pool maintenance or cleaning is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with pool cleaning and equipment handling Strong communication skills with a focus on guest service excellence Demonstrated knowledge of pool safety standards and first aid procedures Ability to stay alert for extended periods while maintaining a lively and positive attitude Physical Requirements Capable of working extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed. Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects that can weigh up to 25 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary. This position will alternate between working indoors in a controlled climate and with proper lighting, to an outdoor setting with variable climate and lighting. Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail-oriented, and with good reasoning skills. Environmental Requirements Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes, and delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons, the employee must remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns. Must be able to work effectively and professionally with all customers, internal and external.
