Theater Usher The Woolworth Theatre Nashville, TN Job Details Part-time $17 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Stress management Attention to detail Patience Theater experience Venue guest services Full Job Description Woolworth Theatre is seeking a reliable and friendly Part-Time Usher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and seating our guests (including VIP ticket holders), leading room turns between shows as well as assisting with general customer service duties. This is a part-time position, with afternoon/evening shifts generally on Thursday, Friday and Saturday's. If you are a friendly, outgoing individual with a passion for customer service and the arts, this is a great opportunity!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet all guests and assist with seating arrangements Usher VIP ticket holders to their seat(s) Provide excellent customer service to all guests Lead room turns between performances ensuring the venue is clean, tidy and "show ready". This includes sweeping, dry mopping and trash removal as necessary Assist with ticket sales and ticket scanning Provide guests with information about the theatre and upcoming performances Assist with crowd control during busy periods Assisting with merchandise sales after each show Performing other duties as directed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer service skills Ability to remain calm under pressure Attention to detail and ability to multitask Availability to work evenings and weekends Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
