Usher - ACU Football Game Day StaffJob Overview We are seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Game Day Event Staff team as Ushers for ACU Football games. Ushers play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for fans by providing excellent customer service, assisting guests with seating, and maintaining a positive game day environment. This is a part-time, seasonal position ideal for retirees, students, or anyone looking for flexible weekend work. Responsibilities Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Scan or verify tickets as assigned. Assist fans in locating their assigned seats. Direct guests to stadium entrances, restrooms, concessions, and other amenities. Monitor assigned seating sections and aisles to ensure guest safety. Provide information and answer questions about stadium policies and procedures. Help maintain orderly crowd movement before, during, and after the game. Report safety concerns, emergencies, or disruptive behavior to supervisors or security personnel. Assist with guest accessibility needs whenever possible. Remain at assigned post throughout the event unless directed otherwise by a supervisor. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Strong communication and customer service skills. Friendly, professional, and dependable. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours). Ability to climb stairs and navigate stadium seating areas. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by the football schedule. Previous customer service or event experience is preferred but not required.
