Job Description
Join Our Team! Rockport Country Club is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Golf Shop Attendant to join our golf operations team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a passion for golf, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service in a private club environment. As the first point of contact for our members and guests, the Golf Shop Attendant plays a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable golf experience. Responsibilities Greet members and guests with a friendly, professional attitude Check in golfers and process daily play through the point-of-sale system Answer telephone calls and assist with tee time reservations Assist with golf shop merchandise sales and displays Provide information regarding club events, tournaments, and golf programs Prepare golf carts and ensure they are clean and fully stocked Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and surrounding areas Assist with tournament operations and special club events Perform opening and closing procedures Support the Head Golf Professional and golf operations staff as needed Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Retail or golf course experience preferred but not required Golf knowledge is a plus Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors Benefits Flexible scheduling Employee golf privileges Employee merchandise discounts Opportunity to learn all aspects of golf operations Fun, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for advancement within golf operations About Rockport Country Club Rockport Country Club is a premier private golf club located on the beautiful Texas Coastal Bend.
