ABOUT US
Elev8 Performance is a faith based fitness and wellness community in Costa Mesa. Through training, functional health, recovery and faith, we support our members in reaching their best health. We have been family owned since 2015 and serve around 620 active members. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to run daily operations at our flagship location and increase membership base. This is not an assistant manager role. You will drive membership growth, protect retention, lead the staff and make sure this place feels like home to every member. The GM will fully run and operate the Costa Mesa location independently and report in to the owners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and team development Own daily staff performance and uphold standards Run weekly team meetings and one on ones Uphold a culture of excellence, faith and respect Keep every team member aligned with our mission and systems Membership growth and sales with the ability to analyze lead generation and sales metrics Read membership trends and build promotions that grow revenue Audit and refine systems to improve member retention Monitor class performance, cancellations and trial progress Build community through events, connection nights and challenges Operations and systems Maintain cleanliness, equipment upkeep and facility appearance Own scheduling, class coverage and timecard approvals Keep our systems current and accurate: GymMaster, Kilo CRM, Trainerize, Slack Financial responsibility Oversee budget, expense tracking and revenue reporting Monitor MRR, attrition, LTV and CAC monthly Prepare ownership reports and recommend improvements
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years managing a gym, studio or fitness facility with a proven track record for growth Results you can show with numbers: sales growth, retention or a turnaround You have hired, trained and released staff Fluent in gym software and reporting, and comfortable running a tour and closing a membership yourself Builds systems, implements them and holds people to them Leads with grace and truth, de escalates conflict, turns hard situations around Works independently, decides quickly, owns the outcome Passion for health, fitness and faith based community Available on site including early mornings, evenings and some weekends, and on call for emergencies Personal training certification preferred General knowledge of facility maintenance is a plus
COMPENSATION
$70,000 to $100,000 depending on experience, with annual performance and compensation reviews and a clear plan to keep advancing.
