Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Fitness Manager to lead our dynamic fitness team and elevate the member experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations of the fitness center, develop innovative training programs, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all clients. Your leadership will inspire both staff and members to achieve their health and fitness goals while maintaining high standards of service excellence. Duties Lead and motivate the fitness team, including personal trainers, group instructors, and support staff to deliver outstanding service Develop, implement, and evaluate strength and conditioning training programs tailored to diverse client needs, including athletes and general members Ensure all safety protocols are followed by conducting manual handling assessments, body mechanics education, and maintaining compliance with first aid, CPR, and AED operation standards Oversee program design that incorporates biomechanics, physiology knowledge, anatomy principles, and sports coaching techniques to maximize client results Provide coaching on proper exercise techniques, weight handling in the workplace, and injury prevention strategies Manage client communication by offering personalized fitness advice, progress tracking, and motivational support Maintain a clean, organized gym environment while ensuring adherence to health club policies and safety regulations Requirements Proven experience in the fitness industry with a strong background in gym management or health club operations Extensive knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and strength training instruction Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and manual handling procedures Demonstrated ability to develop effective strength and conditioning training programs for individuals and groups Experience working with athletes or sports coaching background is highly desirable Excellent communication skills with a focus on client service excellence and team leadership Ability to teach group fitness classes or personal training sessions with enthusiasm and professionalism Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities within a busy fitness environment Join us as a Fitness Manager where your passion for health meets your leadership talent!
