This is a full-time position offering a salary range of $36,000-$50,000 per year , with additional opportunities for bonuses and performance-based incentives. Key Responsibilities Maintain and regularly update a comprehensive new hire tracking system, including hire dates, certifications (e.g., NASM, ACE), experience levels, and onboarding status Oversee the onboarding process for all new personal trainers, ensuring timely completion of required training, documentation, and compliance standards Track each trainer's progression, including completion of initial client sessions ("Kickoffs"), first sales, and early performance milestones Evaluate new hire readiness through session audits, coaching feedback, and performance observations Collaborate with management to identify high-potential trainers and provide development opportunities Identify gaps in onboarding, sales ability, or coaching skills, and implement corrective action plans Ensure all new hires meet company expectations for professionalism, client experience, and program delivery Provide consistent mentorship and support to accelerate each trainer's path to productivity and revenue generation Performance Focus Onboarding completion within designated timelines Early-stage revenue generation and client retention Overall integration into team culture and performance standards Qualifications - Assistant Personal Training Manager Current nationally recognized Personal Training Certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent) required Valid CPR/AED Certification (must be current and maintained throughout employment) 1-2 years of personal training experience required; prior leadership or team lead experience preferred Basic understanding of fitness sales processes, including consultations, program design, and closing training packages Ability to support revenue goals and contribute to monthly personal training sales targets Strong knowledge of exercise science, program design, and client assessment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on member experience Ability to assist in recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring personal trainers Team-oriented mindset with the ability to motivate and support a high-energy fitness staff Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to assist in scheduling, reporting, and daily operations Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Proficient in basic computer systems and willing to learn fitness management software Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
