Position Overview d'strict Americas is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Manager to support our growing U.S. operations across Las Vegas, New York, and Los Angeles (opening soon). This role is the primary HR point of contact for all U.S. entities and plays a critical part in ensuring a consistent, compliant, and people-first workplace experience. The HR Manager will work closely with local leadership and our Global HR team headquarter in Seoul, Korea. Professional working proficiency in Korean is strongly preferred and required for regular communication with headquarters in Seoul. Why Join Us? (k), employee benefits, open enrollment, and invoice review Offboarding Manage end-to-end offboarding processes, including termination administration and benefits coordination Employee Relations Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion Conduct required trainings including harassment prevention and workplace safety Support employees and managers across all U.S. locations Performance Management & Compensation Support mid-year and annual performance evaluations and promotion reviews Assist with salary adjustment processes and compensation documentation Employee Data Management Maintain and update employee master data and HR documentation across all systems HR Communication & Reporting Collaborate with Global HR team in Seoul and support HR reporting and communication as needed. Conduct daily communication and reporting in Korean with the Korean headquarters Coordinate with General Managers across
Las Vegas, New York, and Los Angeles Required Qualifications Korean Language Proficiency:
Business-level proficiency in Korean (written and verbal) — Professional working proficiency in Korean is strongly preferred and required for regular communication with headquarters in Seoul.
HR Experience:
Minimum 8 years of hands-on HR experience in the U.S., with demonstrated ability to manage multi-location HR operations independently
English Proficiency:
Native or native-equivalent proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Labor Law Knowledge:
Solid, practical understanding of U.S. federal and state labor laws (CA, NV, NY) with applied compliance experience
Organizational Skills:
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
Time Management:
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-location environment
Cross-Cultural Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and across cultural environments, particularly in a Korean-American corporate setting
Travel:
Willingness and ability to travel domestically (CA, NV, NY) as needed
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
