POSITION OVERVIEW

The Regional Sales Manager

•Mountain States & Pacific Northwest at REDARC Electronics is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and representing the REDARC brand across key markets. This role combines strategic relationship management with hands-on technical expertise—building partnerships with OEMs, distributors, truck dealerships, and installers while providing training, product demonstrations, and troubleshooting support. The manager will identify new market opportunities through research and customer feedback, support product development initiatives, and ensure all communications and administrative processes are executed promptly and professionally. Collaboration is central to success in this role, working closely with Marketing, Engineering, Product, and Quality teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and uphold REDARC's mission and core values throughout the region.

SCOPE OF ACCOUNTABILITIES

CUSTOMER

RELATIONSHIP

Develop and maintain customer relationships with OEMs, distributors, auto electricians/mechanics, truck dealerships, and end-user customers within agreed regions. Attend trade shows to promote the REDARC brand. Develop and present training presentations for distributors and installers. Ensure prompt and professional communications to customers.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Provide face-to-face and telephone technical support for REDARC products, assist with installation troubleshooting as required. Ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner. Provide training to customers as required.

MARKET RESEARCH

In conjunction with the Marketing Department, gather accurate market intelligence regarding customers, competitors, and market conditions. In conjunction with the Marketing Department, investigate new market opportunities and develop business plans detailing how to grow the business. Work with OEMs and distributors to develop new products. Cold call customers in "your state." Obtain and submit customer feedback to the Marketing Department.

ADMINISTRATION

Timely preparation and submission of sales quotes. Maintain customer records and data on REDARC's CRM. Write and submit weekly trip reports. Develop and submit weekly call plans.

TEAMWORK

Work within the Product, Marketing, and Sales & Technical Support teams. Work with the Engineering Department to provide prompt feedback to customers on issues. Work with Product Management and Marketing to develop product documentation. Promote the Sales & Technical Support Department across the business. Promote REDARC's mission statement and core values with all stakeholders. Work with the Quality Department to provide timely feedback to customers on quality issues. Attend sales meetings, conferences, and interviews the company reasonably requires. OTHER Undertake any other reasonable tasks approved and delegated by your line manager. Consistently demonstrate behaviors aligned to our core values.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualification in Electronics is preferred Sales, Business Development Experience, as a sole contributor Practical automotive electronics experience Selling experience into smaller RV, Work Truck Builders/suppliers, Phone/Utility Good presentation skills Ability to train customers Knowledge of sales in the automotive electrical industry is desired Knowledge of CRM systems is desired
